EANN Website Design and Development

About this project

We designed and built a website for the Eastern Africa Nationality Network (EANN), a regional coalition of civil society organizations, stateless-led groups, activists and academics working to end statelessness in Eastern Africa. The site opens with a responsive homepage slider that presents EANN's mission and its establishment in May 2022. It also highlights the network's four key interventions: Cross-learning & Capacity Building, Visibility & Awareness Raising, Resource Mobilization & Management, and Advocacy. It includes About and What We Do pages, a Resources section with Publications, Gallery, and Blog, a Careers page, and a Contact page. A partners section showcases member organizations such as Haki na Sheria, Namati, Minority Rights Group, and KHRC, and an updates section features news such as the training of East African journalists on statelessness. The site also has a built-in accessibility toolbar with screen-reader support, dyslexia-friendly and high-contrast modes, text resizing, and animation controls, so it can be used by as many people as possible. The result is a credible, professional home for EANN's regional advocacy work.
